Germany's annual distribution sales reached 5.14 billion euros, an increase of about 43%year -on -year, the highest level since 2010.DMASS reports that in the fourth quarter of Europe, the semiconductor business increased by 38%, and the business of interoperability, passive and electromechanical components increased by 8%.The second year of consecutive year set a sales record.

On February 7, FBDI announced the sales data of the German component distribution industry in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The sales of distributors reported to FBDI have increased by nearly 38%to 1.36 billion euros.In contrast, the number of reservations fell by 20%to 1.16 billion euros.The ratio of orders to orders (the ratio of order to sales) dropped to 0.86.

Germany's annual sales were 5.14 billion euros, an increase of about 43%year -on -year, the highest level since 2010.

Q4 German distribution differences in various categories are different

  • Semiconductor sales increased by nearly 50%to 942 million euros (about 3.4 billion euros throughout the year), which is equivalent to nearly 70%of the total market share;
  • Sales of passive components increased by 10.5%to 161 million euros (708 million euros throughout the year);
  • Electromechanical increased 15%to 157 million euros, with a share of 12%(670 million euros throughout the year, 13%of the share);
  • The power supply class increased by 32%, and the sales reached 46 million euros (the annual sales were 178 million euros, and the share was 3.5%);
  • Other product areas, such as sensors, monitors and components, have grown strong, but only account for 4%of the entire market;

For component distribution, this is another special quarter in sales.Semiconductors have reached the biggest increase in 12 years. Several factors have played a key role, such as inflation, manufacturer's price increase, and the number of delivery to customers significantly increased.Georg Steinberger, chairman of the board of directors of FBDI, explained.

Steinberger pointed out that Germany's distribution increased its delivery (unit) by 50%within two years.This growth does not match the typical growth of demand, so the market may be integrated in 2023.

2022 European component distribution record

According to data released on February 6, DMASS showed that the number of semiconductor sales in the fourth quarter of Europe in 2022 was strong. The normal sales of IP & AMP; E (interconnection, passive and electromechanical) components reached 50.03 billion euros, an increase of 27.8%year -on -year.Semiconductor reached a record high in the third quarter, with sales reaching 3.62 billion euros, and IP & AMP; E sales reached 1.41 billion euros, an increase of 7.9%over the same period of the previous year.Data show that the company's comprehensive component revenue involved in the company in 2022 was 19.5 billion euros, an increase of 32.6%over 2021.

  The growth of various categories in different countries or regions

In the fourth quarter of 2022, European semiconductor increased by 37.7%.

At the national/regional level, the numbers are very different, from Russia's reduction from 97% to the highest growth of 53% in Switzerland.

The sales growth of major regions is as follows: Germany increased by 49.6% to 1.06 billion euros; Italy increased by 34.7% to 316 million euros; France increased by 41.9% to 243 million euros; UK increased by 30.4% to 227 million euros; Eastern Europe increased by 39.9% to 659 million euros.Northern Europe increased by 46.4% to 3.11 billion euros.

The results of Switzerland, Austria, Iberia (Portugal and Spain) and Turkey are significantly higher than the average level, and the performance of the Hollo Economic Alliance, Israel and Ireland is at a level or lower than the average level.

At the product level, the most increased growth is programming logic, other logic (ASSP), and MOS Micro. The analog products reach the average level. Discrete, power supply, memory and sensor categories are normalized, while photoelectric products have the worst sales.

In the fourth quarter, the sales of sales in each category were obvious, from 6% from LED to more than 107% of the explosive growth of programmable logic categories.

The growth trend of the main products is as follows: simulation categories increased by 38.1% to 1.01 billion euros; MOS Micro increased 50% to 775 million euros; power categories increased by 24.2% to 402 million euros; storage categories increased by 25% to 356 million euros; programmable logic categoriesIncreased by 107.4% to 287 million euros; other logic categories increased by 73.7% to 240 million euros; OPTO increased by 2.8% to 232 million euros; separated devices increased by 10.3% to 175 million euros, and sensor categories increased by 26.1% to 99 million euros.

In addition, it is worth noting that the high -end MCU beyond power management has become the largest product category.

 Connecting, passive and electromechanical components

In the fourth quarter of 22 years, interconnection, passive, and electromechanical (IP & AMP; E) components once again increased at a slower normal speed.Compared with the fourth quarter of a year ago, sales were 1.41 billion euros, an increase of 7.9%.

At the national level, the growth rate is significantly different: Germany increased by 8% to 352 million euros; Eastern Europe increased by 10.4% to 191 million euros; the UK increased by 15.9% to 142 million euros, and Italy increased by only 1.6% to 137 million euros; France increased by 9.99.9% To 125 million euros, Northern Europe increased by 12.6% to 130 million euros.

In terms of products, electromechanical products increased by 8.7% to 747 million euros, passive products increased by 5% to 572 million euros, and power supply increased by 22% to 93 million euros.
