    STPM801 is the ideal diode controller for car regulation integrated heat switching launched by the market, which is suitable for automotive functional safety applications.
    This ideal diode controller drives an external MOSFET switch tube to replace the Schottky diode commonly used in the input reverse protection and output voltage maintained circuit.The voltage on the MOSFET decreases than the forward voltage of the Sanartki diode. Therefore, the dispersal power consumption power during normal work is also lower than the diode.When the failure of the power supply, the power loss, or the input of the short circuit causes the reverse voltage event, cut off the MOSFET power tube to prevent the relevant reverse current transient transient.
   
    This ideal diode control circuit also provides the power switching controller of the main power and backup batteries to ensure that safety key equipment such as autonomous driving and driving assistance systems (ADAS) has uninterrupted power supply.
    The built -in thermal switch controller drives the second external N -channel MOSFET tube to protect the load during the main power supply and spare battery switching period.The soft startup function is charged with a well -known capacitor value connected to the gate with a constant current, so as to control the informal transition event of the second MOSFET tube to avoid high waves of current.As long as the input voltage is not within the specified threshold, the output voltage will be cut off for over -voltage and underwriting pins.
    STPM801 also has protection and monitoring functions, suitable for functional security requirements to meet the ISO 26262 car safety integrity level D -class system.These functions are integrated in a package of a 5mm x 5mm VFQFN-32, which saves the area of the PCB circuit board and reduces the number of external components to limit the number of external components.
The working voltage range of     STPM801 is 4V-65V, which can tolerate the risk of vehicle electrical. The 25μA static current can reduce the battery leakage when the vehicle is closed.Target applications include regional/body ECU, ADAS ECU, high -performance computing ECU, information entertainment ECU, redundant power supply system and dual battery system.
    STPM801 is now invested in mass production.
